Iqaluit marks Red Dress Day

Approximately 75 people attended on the May 5 National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two-Spirit-Plus people. “I’m here on behalf of my niece Savanna who was murdered in Ottawa when she went for a nursing program,” she said.
