Iqaluit RCMP ask for public’s help in locating man wanted by police

Police are looking for Iola Lucassie, 32

Iqaluit RCMP are requesting the public’s help to find a man wanted by police, who have a warrant for his arrest.

Iola Lucassie of Iqaluit, 32, was charged with assault causing bodily harm in relation to an incident that occurred at a residence in the city on Oct. 6, police said in a press release.

Lucassie, pictured above, is described as a five-foot-eight, 150-pound Inuk male with brown eyes and black hair.

The police said they have not been able to locate Lucassie and have obtained a warrant for his arrest.

The police ask members of the public not to approach Lucassie and to call the RCMP immediately, if they see him.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lucassie is asked to call the RCMP at 867-979-1111 or Crime Stoppers at 867-222-8477.
