Iqaluit rings in Lunar New Year

A small gathering of 25 Iqaluit residents rung in the year of the rat on Saturday, Jan. 25. Celebrated by roughly 20 per cent of the world, Lunar New Year, otherwise referred to as Chinese New Year or Spring Festival, is said to mark the end of the coldest days of the year. While that may not be the case in the North, it was still a chance to get together and feast. (Photo by Dustin Patar)
