Iqaluit cops lay bootlegging charges

Police have charged an Iqaluit woman for bootlegging.

Joanne Martel faces charges under the Liquor Act for keeping liquor for sale and illegal sales of liquor.

On June 4, RCMP searched house 146-B and seized 43 40-ounce bottles of liquor, a case of beer and a four-litre box of wine.
