Iqaluit RCMP officer charged with domestic assault

David Aglukark, 28, an RCMP member in Iqaluit, is scheduled to enter a plea Oct. 4 to one charge of assault involving his spouse.

Aglukark, brother of Inuit pop singer Susan Aglukark, was charged July 17, 2002, in Iqaluit.

An RCMP spokesperson said Aglukark will be on administrative duties while the matter is before the courts.
