Concert Tonight, Coffee House Saturday
Tonight, Aug. 19, 7 p.m. Kids from the Iqaluit Music Society’s Music Camp will perform in concert at Joamie School. On Saturday, Aug. 20, 7 p.m., the Music Society will hold a coffee house at the Parish Hall.
Iqaluit Square Community Workshop
Saturday, Aug. 27 and Sunday, Aug. 28, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., come out and get involved in the construction of the new Iqaluit Square outside of the elders’ centre. On Saturday there will be hands-on training on dry stone walling by two stone masons, and you get to build a section of the stone wall. This community workshop runs for two days but you must come for the training on Saturday if you are planning to be there on Sunday.
Nunavut Arts Festival
