Fourth annual plant swap
Saturday, May 20, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Nunavut Arctic College. Bring your plant cuttings to swap for different varieties for your home, office or classroom. Film screening fundraiser
Saturday, May 27, 7 p.m. at the Francophone Centre. The Ajjiit Nunavut Media Association is showing “Silent Messengers, A Road Movie Without a Road,” a documentary about inuksuit produced by the National Film Board and Picture Plant. Admission is by donation, all money raised will go towards the Alianait Arts Festival.
