Get help with income tax
Volunteers are ready to help people fill out their 2005 tax forms. Clinics will be held at the public library on Tuesday and Thursday nights, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This service is for simple tax returns only. If you have rental income or are self-employed, you will need to look to a commercial tax return service for help. The Community Volunteer Income Tax program is ideal for students, seniors, and people with lower incomes. The service is available until the end of April.

FASD care workers workshop
Monday, March 27, the Frobisher Inn, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The “we CARES workshop” is a day-long, free workshop that provided practical skills for people who work with or provide support to adults with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.
