Banff Mountain Film Festival
Gala opening on Saturday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the Frobisher Inn’s Baffin Room. Sunday screening on March 19, at 6:30 in the Astro Theatre. Watch some of the world’s best footage of mountain and adventure sports, including a film about base-jumping near Clyde River. Tickets available in Northmart on Saturday or Tittaq on weekdays. Tickets are $40 for Saturday and $30 for Sunday. All proceeds will be donated to the Embrace Life Council. For more information, call 979-4762.

Classical tea
Saturday, March 11, 7:30 p.m., Aqsaarniit Middle School. The Iqaluit Music Society presents a tea featuring local musicians performing classical, jazz and contemporary music. Admission is free; donations will go towards youth and community music programs.
