Iqaluit’s new mayor should stay put

So our new mayor is thinking of running for MLA in February. What is that?

I went to the polls to vote for her as mayor. I suspect she wanted me to vote for her because she was campaigning for votes. Now she is telling me that she actually doesn’t want the job?

That is like begging someone to marry you and then, when they say yes, turning around and saying that you are going to marry someone else.

She asked to be mayor, and now she is. Maybe she should take some time and be the mayor that she wanted to be before looking for another job.
