Is ITK a rogue organization?

I was stunned to learn that ITK held its “elections” recently.

This is the first time we’ve heard of any of it, well after the fact, that Jose got an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Since when did offers of presidency ever get offered? Who offered it to him and when and where? How much is he making? Who else ran besides Peter and John? What’s going on here?

ITK is a body with the word “Kanata” attached to it. Obviously, this is just a token word. How come we never got word of any of this? On- and off-again elections?

I just don’t believe you can “decide” whether to have elections or not. Aren’t there any policies in place? Who are the federal cabinet ministers and what are they doing making an offer that can’t be refused?

ITK has no credibility. I’m glad at least we have NTI, the body that represents the Inuit of Canada. I’m just disgusted with ITK and the big-fisted president who must have been elected by a select few including a few cabinet ministers. Unbelievable and unreal!

I live in a world of educated and sophisticated Inuit who live everywhere and are denied everything!

Shame on ITK. Let’s all vote to do away with that rogue organization and make NTI the representing body. Unreal.
