Jurors called to preside in murder trial

Jury selection in the murder trail of Jeannie Manning is scheduled for Nov. 25 in Iqaluit.

Manning, 43, faces one count of second-degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of Davidee Adla, formerly of Cape Dorset.

Adla, 44, died after a dispute in the 800-block of Iqaluit on Sept. 1, 2001.

Manning spent seven months in remand at the Fort Smith Correction Centre before her conditional release back to Iqaluit on March 13, 2002.
