In 1967 and 1968 I lived in Kangiqsualujjuaq with Tivi Etok and his family. It was a very small village with approximaterly 120 people. I took several pictures of the town and of people. I gave my collection of photos to Avataq Cultural Insititute. If someone wants a picture of a family member, do not hesitate to contact me, and I will be pleased to forward the pictures. If I recall well, there were the families of Annanack, Nagolaq, Etok, Emudluk, Morgan, Baron, Emuk. In 1967, the DNA (Department of Northern Affairs) officer was Don Pruden. In 1968 he was replaced by Ernie Sieberg. Donat Savoie
