    Yeah, I don’t think that this is going to be effective.
    .
    What would work better;
    – pay a number of the local ladies to make enough face masks to give each person in the community half a dozen each, make sure to have a lot of different designs, and also make kids sizes. Maybe even a dozen each pee kid as they are bound to lose them.
    – pay elders and other respected people in each community to go to each house and hand out enough masks for everyone. Have the elder explain why this is being done, and how important it is to keep the virus away. Be realistic and tell people that this may last one or two years. Have them lay out all the rules, such as not meeting with people from other households.
    – prepare a list of ideas to keep the kids ( and adults busy). Encourage Facebook meetings and local idea exchanges on positive things to do.
    – follow up every week with each family and see if help is needed such as food, rent, parenting advice, mental health assistance.
    .
    It’s important that the RIOs get involved. Now is the time to spend some of the money you have.
