Kudos to Iqaluit’s Christmas games organizers

During last night’s Iqaluit city council meeting, Mayor Kenny Bell presented members of 123 Go! with a local hero award for their continued work organizing the city’s Christmas games and Toonik Tyme. According to Bell, the newly created local hero awards are intended to recognize those who are selflessly filling a need and making a difference in the lives of vulnerable or marginalized groups within the community.
