A few kids on a hill, as by the photo. I’m not sure if anyone really gives two cents to suicide today. It’s a sad reality. Not sure if we’re all desensitized or were so against the whole concept of killing oneself. As we talk and discuss the matter of suicide, we are stumbling and trying hard to remember such and such of who did it. We could say to each other, do you remember this one or that one, and the answer huh, wait, let me think. It’s not really an up front concern anymore, just an unacceptable real part of life.

Our kids are the product of our own behaviour. People committing suicide today, has been trained for it for years. One just don’t go and end their life, just like that. There are history of preparing for it. Even thou, we could say it’s can be a spontaneous thing, done at the moment, like when under the influence, or when a girl, or boy cheats! And jealous reaction. But within the mind of such a person to do suicide, there are many thoughts about it over time. That thought could be thinking of others who have done it, and thereby, the suicide continues in that person, who at the time is at the lowest point in life. But all in all, suicide is the product of illness that comes from the generation that fails the newer generation of good upbringing. It’s not really about families failing, but more so the whole community failing the young people. Look at Nunavik and try to find the illness of poor upbringing and you’ll see the suicide tendencies as plain as day. In a Nunavik today, there is an option: foster home! Or suicide. The third option is to be not well, and use drugs, alcohol, and live in a miserable existence.
