Kuujjuaq Christmas in July

On Saturday, July 25, children in Kuujjuaq were surprised to see Santa and Mrs. Claus visit their community to celebrate Christmas in July. Along with their elves, Santa and Mrs. Claus spread good cheer, distributing candies and toys to the community’s children during a parade all around town that lasted the whole afternoon. And the Christmas music playing from their “sleigh” certainly brought a smile to the faces of everyone there, whether young or old. (Photo by Isabelle Dubois)
