Kuujjuaq marches to celebrate life

Kuujjuaq residents march along Airport Road on Friday as part of the village’s Celebration of Life Walk. The event was part of Suicide Prevention Month, which is observed in September. Participants walked from Jaanimmarik School to the Kuujjuaq Forum. The walk took place two days after World Suicide Prevention Day, which is observed around the world on Sept. 10.
