Kuujjuaq treatment centre earns new accreditation

Staff and board members of the Kuujjuaq-based Isuarsivik Regional Recovery Centre celebrate the centre receiving its Qmentum Accreditation, the first health centre in Nunavik to achieve the distinction through Accreditation Canada. Isuarsivik is currently working towards building a new recovery centre in Kuujjuaq, set to open in 2021. Becoming accredited is a voluntary process for health and social services agencies, but this accreditation recognizes such establishments for meeting quality and safety standards.
