I’m was thrilled to watch my granddaughter Ruby Ningeocheak and her team mates
break the ice for the first time,it’s only a come-see for most of the first timers in
these AWGs . What I’ve counted over the years that when I played in goal was to have
fun and played as a team. Ruby when playing hockey plays with the boys due to
lack of other female girls playing the sport so hopefully when team is selected next time be better prepared and seasoned after these games are over. Very proud of
Team Nunavut in all the sports that they compete in.
