Man faces charges after crack cocaine, cash seized in Iqaluit search

A 53-year-old man faces multiple drug trafficking charges after RCMP carried out a search warrant Saturday at a residence in the Tundra Ridge area of Iqaluit.
Officers seized cocaine, crack cocaine and cash during the search, RCMP said in a news release Monday. The release did not say anything about the amount cash or drugs they found.
The man is charged with two counts of possession of a substance for trafficking, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in an Iqaluit courtroom Aug. 11.
Why are the RCMP not naming the alleged drug dealer. If they are why is NN not publishing the name. They have no problem naming an Inuk women who allegedly killed her husband. Pathetic double standard. We need theses people off our streets and out of our town.

They also have no problem naming the person charged in the recent defrauding case. Name names. The public police release does, the public court docket does.
They will name the drug dealer eventually, but why are you comparing murder to dealing drugs, clearly not the same thing.
So much crack cocaine in Nunavut lately. Heard there was a vehicle fire in Cambridge Bay…apparently it was some dealer using scare/arson tactics for a person to not rat them out for their son being a mule/pusher.
Solution: Security and drug sniffing dogs in Yellowknife, Ottawa, Winnipeg. All the main hubs to get into Nunavut.

they are among us, the crackhead multiply and even worse they enter the work force dispick the fact that crackhead are not to be trusted what so ever, i ve seen some work post office,baffin canners,airport,J&N Moving and more, due to their need of money for drugs they work, employer like them cause crack makes them lound mouth,allways have the last words with customer and full of energy allways walking in circle can never stay still and breed, but they are really a Dangerous Liability and can not be trusted in public and worst with keys or any safety regulation, after all the chemical they take mess their brain out and they have no fear of anything and dont listen to wrong or good wayback before they start being a junky, employer do not hired skiny people with no theeth. best bet is, fat people, since crack make all their fat melt away so Miraculously fast.crack can affect all people all colours, a man sold his house in iqaluit for crack, another one looss his buisness,an other one cant keep his job and goes from job to job and hook people up on it by sharing . employer out there dont hired crack head please. get drug text and fired them
