Man accused of having sex with minor to stand trial

A judge has said the evidence from a preliminary hearing on Sept. 26 is enough to send Daniel Komoartok to trial.

Komoartok is charged in connection with a sexual assault involving a 12-year-old girl alleged to have occurred Sept. 7, 2001, in Iqaluit.

A trial date has yet to be set.
