Marching for suicide prevention in Kuujjuaq

Children in Kuujjuaq wave signs to promote suicide prevention on Tuesday afternoon. The march was part of Nunavik’s annual Suicide Prevention Week, with this year’s theme being “Celebrate Life.” Young people and their families have been encouraged to put up positive messages, walk with their friends and talk to elders, all with the aim of preventing suicide across Nunavik.
