To mark the 25th anniversary of the creation of Nunavut, Nunatsiaq News asked readers to describe what’s in store for the next 25 years.

Nunavut be will 50 years old in 2049.

Nunavut will be better in 2049.

There’s gonna be more everything like more qallunaks, more Inuit, more houses, more hunting, more jobs, more mining.

Maybe they won’t have to go south, elders.
