Igloolik Sivuniit Middle School hosted a Halloween carnival on Oct. 28.
The community came out to play games, win prizes and to support a good cause.
The weekend’s festivities were part of a larger fundraising effort to send the Grade 9 class on an end-of-year trip to Ottawa.

This photo essay is the result of a partnership between Nunatsiaq News and the Sivuniit Middle School’s journalism club in Igloolik. The club helps students learn the fundamentals of news writing and photography. Grade 9 student Anthony Qrunnut went to the school’s Halloween carnival to take pictures of the fun and games.
