New case of COVID-19 confirmed in Kuujjuaq
Nunavik health officials say there is no significant risk to the community
Nunavik health officials announced a new case of COVID-19 in Kuujjuaq Wednesday.
The individual was infected while visiting the south and is now in isolation, according to the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services.
Public health officials have reached out to people who may be at risk of infection and asked them to isolate.
There are currently no other active cases of COVID-19 in the region.
