- B — Four of Nunavut’s 25 communities are currently in a tuberculosis outbreak, according to the office of the chief public health officer. They are Pangnirtung, Pond Inlet, Naujaat and Arviat.
- B — In 2022, the national rate of tuberculosis was 5.1 cases per 100,000 people, underscoring the urgent need to improve conditions in the North to lower the rate of the sickness.
