No injuries reported in fire at DJ Specialties

No injuries were reported after a fire broke out at DJ Specialties store on Iqaluit’s Ring Road Tuesday morning. Twenty-one members of the city’s emergency services department responded to the call at about 9:30 a.m., a city news release said. Fire trucks and emergency services vehicles blocked off Kuugalaak Street until at least 12:30 p.m. The Office of the Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, the city reported.
