No more free rides for city employees
This letter is for the public.
I know a friend who works for the City of Iqaluit, but I’m not saying what department.
He received a letter a while back with no explanation as to why the the city stopped making pick-ups and drop-offs of their workers.
I feel for the employees who have to walk to work, then walk around all day doing water and sewage work and picking up garbage, then walk home after a hard day at work.
Why now, when Iqaluit is growing more and more every day?
Have they looked at those who drive around all day doing nothing? Maybe they should have stopped that.
My point is, why now?
