NTI to meet in Pang

IQALUIT — Nunavut’s largest land-claim organization will hold its annual general meeting in Pangnirtung this year.

Nunavut Tunngavik Inc., which represents all the beneficiaries of the Nunavut land-claims agreement, will have its AGM in the East Baffin community from Oct. 8-12.

Attendees at the meeting will include NTI’s executive committee members as well as delegates from each of Nunavut’s communities.

The agenda for the AGM will be announced in September following NTI’s regular board meeting in Qikiqtarjuaq.

Last year’s NTI AGM was held in Arviat.
