Nunavik declares three more COVID-19 cases
Three more COVID-19 cases have been declared in Nunavik, all in the Hudson Bay community of Puvirnituq, shown here. “The patients are not in critical condition; they are isolated at home and are being monitored daily by health professionals,” the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services said on Sunday, April 5. “These new cases bring the cumulative total to five (5) cases for the region of Nunavik.… As of today, it is also confirmed that the first positive case, identified in Salluit, has now fully recovered from the virus.” One previous case had also been identified last week in Puvirnituq. Me and my girlfriend had a call that night!!,, I wonder if the front line get paid more? I am first responder in Puvirnituq
Trying to cash in?
Asia. Maybe you should get paid more, but to ask about it in a forum like this is rather shamefully put. You make yourself look not like a warrior, but someone interested in money. That very disappointing, may be you don’t need to be on the front line.
You should receive an 8% percent increase this according to the government ( Quebec) they offered 4% it was augmented to 8% after an outcry
I heard they’re doing well but I’ll send them my wish for their speedy recovery. ❤️
It’s very good that they are doing well, and that one has already fully recover, but. Don’t let your guard down because of those doing well, and recovering. Just remember , it’s highly possible that others are infected already from those who are positive, or even the ones that recover. Keep doing physical distancing, washing hands, staying home. Be hopeful, but don’t parade around celebrating yet.
