Nunavik’s MP celebrates 16th anniversary in office
The Liberal Party’s federal riding association in Abitibi-James Bay-Nunavik, congratulated Guy St-Julien last week for 16 years spent in political life.
“We can all appreciate the enterprising spirit that Guy St-Julien has shown ever since his arrival on the political scene,” said a news release from the riding association. “He is always concerned for the well-being of the people in his large riding.”
Prime Minister Paul Martin congratulated St-Julien in a personal letter, saying that the affable MP’s political career is an example of “remarkable tenacity and originality.”
