Nunavut goes toe-to-toe with Yukon for futsal gold

Team Nunavut was scheduled to go for gold against Team Yukon in the gold medal match for the Under-18 men’s futsal final at the Arctic Winter Games.
Going into the final day of competition, Nunavut had 65 medals while Nunavik had 27.
Alaska, whose Mat-Su Valley region, near Anchorage, is playing host to the games, led the medal standings with 221, as the final day began.
The Arctic Winter Games is an annual sports competition that brings together athletes from Nunavut, Nunavik, the Northwest Territories, Yukon, northern Alberta, Alaska, Greenland and Finland.
