Nunavut RCMP seek public’s help after dogs “apparently stabbed”

After two dogs were found injured and “apparently stabbed,” in Taloyoak last Friday, the RCMP is asking members of the public to come forward with information about the incident.
On Aug. 23, members of the Taloyoak RCMP detachment responded to a call about the stabbing of two dogs in the community of about 1,000 people.
They found the injured dogs outside a residence and took them into care.
The dogs were flown out to Yellowknife to the SPCA facility, where both dogs are expected to make a full recovery, the RCMP said on Monday, Aug. 26.
The RCMP believe that the incident occurred between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Friday, Aug 23.
