Nunavut RCMP takes measures to reduce spread of COVID-19

The Nunavut RCMP says it’s taking measures to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. On Tuesday, March 17, the RCMP announced that public access to the front counters of detachments would be limited to those making complaints. “All other administrative matters such as criminal record checks and fingerprinting will cease until further notice,” the news release said. The RCMP says all Nunavut detachments remain “sufficiently staffed” and will respond to all emergencies and complaints. (File photo)
