Have a great family photo? The Qulliit Nunavut Status of Women Council wants to hear from you.

Qulliit has launched its annual photo competition for International Women’s Day 2020, with prizes up for grabs for the top 10 photos.

This year’s theme is “Celebrate Our Generations.”

“This photo competition is looking for images showcasing multiple generations, such as an image of your families’ grandmother, mother, daughter and granddaughter or grandfather, father, son and grandson as examples,” a news release said.

Selected photos, including the top 10 winning photos, will then go on display in an exhibition at the Nunatta Sunakkutaangit Museum in Iqaluit.

Photos can be sent by email to Qulliit until Feb. 28. The competition is open to all Nunavummiut and each applicant may send up to three photos.

Applications for the competition are available on Qulliit’s website.

The top 10 photos selected by Qulliit will net $200 each.
