A 40-year-old Indigenous woman reported missing in Ottawa on March 25 has been found.
The woman who police said might originally be from Nunavut is safe, according to the Ottawa Police Service release on Sunday morning.
She was last seen March 25 around 6 p.m. in the Elmvale Acres area, near Russell Road and Ruissellet Road in the city’s east end. Officers were concerned for her well-being, the police said in a news release Friday.
On Sunday, the Ottawa Police Service thanked the public and media for their assistance in the search.
