Nunavut goose turns up in Scotland
A snow goose from Bylot Island near Pond Inlet has turned up on the Hebridean island of Islay off the west coast of Scotland, the National Post reported this week.
Bylot Island snow geese normally winter in the U.S. state of Maryland.
Experts say the errant North Baffin goose may have followed a group of white-fronted geese, a closely related species.
