Nunavut’s Health Department needs two members for the medical registration committee, which reviews and decides on applications for the licensing and renewal of medical practitioners.

Those interested should have a strong interest in regulatory process and issues, as well as be able to devote four hours a month to the committee’s work.

The medical registration committee, under the Medical Profession Act, requires a member who is an employee of the Government of Nunavut, as well as a public member who isn’t a licensed medical practitioner in Canada and not an employee of the GN.

Those interested should submit a resume, letter of interest and reference to Registrar Barbara Harvey by July 31 at bharvey@gov.nu.
