Ottawa police seek help locating missing Inuk woman
Julia Nauyuq was last seen June 8, police say
Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help in locating an Inuk woman who has been missing for close to two weeks.
Julia Nauyuq, 47, was last seen in the Pinecrest Road and Carling Avenue area on June 8, according to a news release issued Thursday by the Ottawa Police Service.
Nauyuq is described as being four-foot-nine with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes. Her family is concerned for her well-being, police said.
Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact investigators at 613-236-1222, ext. 7502.
