A man in Pangnirtung faces several charges after an incident that RCMP say left several cars and buildings damaged.
On Sept. 19 around 9:25 p.m., officers received a complaint that a man had committed a theft from a grocery store, RCMP said in a news release Thursday. Shortly after, there were more reports alleging the man was throwing rocks and damaging windows of buildings and vehicles.
Officers located the man as he began throwing rocks at an RCMP residence, the release said, and after a brief chase on foot they arrested him.
A 36-year-old suspect faces three charges including theft under $5,000, resisting arrest and mischief.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Pangnirtung on Nov. 3.

Funny anytime windows are smashed and rocks are thrown, everyone just blames “kids”. Well, here’s a 36 year old “kid” for ya, ladies and gentlemen.
