Pauktuutit elections in November

Pauktuutit Inuit Women’s Association is holding its annual general meeting and board elections from Nov. 27 to 30 in Ottawa.

Members will elect eight regional directors and a president. Any Inuk woman living in Canada is eligible to be nominated. Nominations must be made and seconded by an Inuk woman of legal age and will be accepted until Nov. 29. Regional directors must live in the region they wish to represent, but candidates are not required to be at the AGM to be elected.
