The line-up of performers includes well-known names including Charlie Panigoniak of Arviat, Timiusi Evic of Pangnirtung, Jobie Arnaituq of Kangiqsujuaq, Zebedee Nungaq of Kangirsuk, the Qikiqtaalummi Ingiqtiit group of Iqaluit, Elisapie Isaac of Montreal, Gamalie Nukiguaq of Qikiqtarjuaq, and many, many more.
The festival, which celebrates the many family ties between people in Nunavut and Nunavik, began in 1987, with a gathering in Cape Dorset.
