Landscape architects from across the country sat down with Iqaluit residents and city planning staff to drawn up designs for a revitalization of Iqaluit’s waterfront July 15. The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects is hosting its annual conference in Nunavut’s captial this week until July 17, exploring the theme “on the land.” Iqaluit’s mayor will get a peek at the design concepts when the plans are presented at a banquet Friday evening.
