Cambridge Bay’s Omingmak Frolics are underway. The week’s activities include a different “corporate challenge” held each noon hour. Here, Cambridge Bay’s MLA Keith Peterson, representing the Government of Nunavut’s finance department team, plays street hockey against a team from the Hamlet of Cambridge Bay, with Ovi Hakongak in pink passing him the “puck.” As of May 18, the Department of Finance was in the lead, with four other teams competing, including the Nunavut Impact Review Board, the GN’s health and social services department and Kullik School.
