Photo: Enjoying the sun at Parks Day

Jonah Best of Iqaluit got to enjoy Parks Day in Iqaluit July 18 while the sun still shone, allowing him to use this telescope set up at the pavilion area in Sylvia Grinnell Park. The event brought Iqaluit residents out to enjoy free food and fresh air at around 11:00 that day. But by about 1:00 p.m. the sky darkened and rain fell for most of the afternoon. (PHOTO BY JIM BELL)
