Students and staff at Inuksuk High School sort through piles of clothing and bedding donated March 24 to help victims of the devastating fire at building 4100 earlier that morning. Here’s how Iqaluit residents can continue to help: DO NOT donate more clothes, kid’s items, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap or shampoo. DO donate kitchen items, small appliances, toiletries, clothes hangers, house cleaning items, new pillows, new bedding, toilet paper, paper towels and kleenex. No large items are being accepted. Residents may take donations to Inuksuk HIgh School or Nanook School in Apex. Any items not on the requested list will be turned away, but you are encouraged to give them to other charities or community groups. (PHOTO BY JIM BELL)
