Photo: Iqaluit police seize coke, ecstasy, hash and weed

Acting on a tip, members of the Nunavut RCMP drug section seized these condoms stuffed with illegal drugs March 10. Police said they found 143.9 grams of cocaine, 16 ecstasy pills, 6.1 grams of hash, and 2.8 grams of marijuana, and that they estimate the re-sale value at $29,572. Patrick Larouche, 32, of Iqaluit, now faces two counts of possession and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He also faces three other counts, of possessing methamphetamine, marijuana and hash, related to a seizure made Sept. 20, 2009 at the Iqaluit airport.
