Photo: NACA to team up with Alianait

Members of the Nunavut Arts and Crafts Association at an event held June 14 at Iqaluit’s Nunatta Sunakkutaangit museum. The association announced that it will team up with Alianait Arts Festival this year to host the Nunavut Arts Festival 2011 between June 24 and July 4. The arts festival will feature a crafts and raw-material sale; it will also host six master carvers and their apprentices working on six large sculptures throughout the festival, to be auctioned off at a festival dinner July 2.
