Real food: While politicians and government officials ate cooked seal meat the parliamentary office in Ottawa March 9, Inuit in Ottawa enjoyed a real seal feast March 10, thanks to hunter Sandy Akavak. Ina Zakal of the Ottawa Inuit Children’s Centre organized the event, saying “I was hungry for our food. What a blessing.”
